Speed controls waiting time; an allowance controls how much data you can transfer. A faster plan does not make the same file smaller. Separate a slow transfer, an exhausted allowance and an in-home Wi-Fi problem before comparing plans.

One file, two speeds
For a 25 decimal-GB file at constant effective throughput:

Twice the throughput halves transfer time in this model. The file stays the same size. Installation and decompression are separate; billed data can also reflect overhead and provider rules.
A fast connection can still exhaust its allowance
A stream averaging 5 Mbps for two hours daily over 30 days transfers 135 GB. Add 100 GB of games and updates: 235 GB, or 35 GB over a 200 GB allowance. A speed increase alone does not close that gap. Compare more capacity with changes in viewing time, average bitrate or other downloads using your provider's actual prices and terms.

Ofcom's reference supports using a wired speed test to reduce Wi-Fi effects; UK contractual rights are not applied to Iraqi plans. The battery calculator estimates router backup energy, but keeping a router powered cannot guarantee that the provider's network remains available.
