Put income and working time on the same basis

A monthly salary alone does not tell you the hourly value of your work. Convert the salary to an annual amount, then divide by annual paid hours. For a hypothetical 1,000,000 IQD monthly salary, annual gross pay is 12,000,000 IQD. With 40 hours each week and 52 paid weeks, the equivalent is approximately 5,769.23 IQD per hour.

The same salary spread over more hours produces a lower hourly equivalent. This is a comparison of time and gross money, not a determination of a legal wage or overtime entitlement.

Record what is actually paid

Keep guaranteed salary separate from uncertain bonuses. State whether leave is paid. If working hours vary, compare a normal week and a busy week rather than pretending one number describes the whole year.

The annual-to-hourly calculator lets you change the assumptions. Use the overtime tool only with a multiplier supported by your actual agreement or a verified applicable rule.

Gross is not net

Taxes, pension contributions and other deductions need current, applicable rules and employment details. Nahrly does not guess those deductions. Use a verified payslip or the responsible authority when calculating the amount deposited into your account.
