Start with a clear target and date
Suppose you want 3,000,000 IQD and already have 600,000 reserved for that purpose. The remaining target is 2,400,000. Over 12 months, that requires 200,000 each month with no assumed interest. Over 18 months it requires approximately 133,333.33 each month.
The longer deadline reduces the monthly amount; it does not reduce the total amount needed. If the price of the intended purchase changes, revisit the target as well as the deadline.
Count only money available for this goal
Do not include a balance that is already needed for rent, debt payments or a different planned purchase. Write down the purpose of the savings so the same amount is not counted for several targets.
Use the savings goal calculator with two deadlines. Compare the monthly result against money remaining after essential expenses and required payments. If the amount is unrealistic, change the target or deadline rather than assuming an unverified investment return.
Keep the assumptions visible
The tool assumes equal contributions and no growth. It does not account automatically for inflation, bank charges or currency changes. If the goal is priced in another currency, track that separately using a verified exchange quote. Recheck the plan after a meaningful change in income or the target price.
